About us

Who we are

Custodians of the National Cycle Network.

We work with communities to effect change on the ground and evidence the impact to influence policies that push those changes further.

Grassroots action with added oomph.

Our culture and values

At Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, our values are more than just a set of words.

They're embedded in everything we do through our people, processes, practices and policies.

We have four values:

- Always learning

- Championing equity

- Taking ownership

- Delivering together.

Equality, diversity and inclusion policy

Walk Wheel Cycle Trust will apply its Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy consistently and will not discriminate on grounds of age, disability, gender, gender assignment, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, race (including nationality, ethnic or national origin), religion or belief / lack of religion or belief, sexual orientation or contractual status (fixed term / full or part-time).

We aim to ensure that our staff are recruited, managed, trained and promoted on the basis of ability, the requirements of the job and the need to maintain an effective and efficient organisation.

Furthermore, we monitor the composition of our workforce and will introduce positive action if it appears that our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy is not fully effective.
