Wandsworth Community Transport

Who we are

A registered charity, we have been operating for over 40 years, providing specialist transport services across the borough of Wandsworth for community groups and individuals with mobility problems.

We rely heavily on volunteers, who drive the minibuses, help people do their shopping, or help out in the office.

Our main services are provided under contract with Wandsworth Borough Council. Sainsbury’s provide our Shopmobility premises. As a charity, fundraising is an important part of our revenue stream along with the many smaller contributions we receive from all our many supporters and users.

Our culture and values

At Wandsworth Community Transport, our staff, volunteers and Trustees all play an important part in helping people stay independent, connected and involved in their community.

There are many ways to get involved with Wandsworth Community Transport — through paid work, volunteering or helping to shape our future as a Trustee.

We are committed to making working with WCT accessible and inclusive. We welcome people with different skills, experiences and perspectives.
