West Herts and Borders Methodist Circuit

Who we are

The Methodist Church in West Hertfordshire and the Borders includes seventeen churches in and around Harpenden, Berkhamsted, Hemel and Watford. Our vision is to share God's love, alive in Christ, with all. We do this through worship and service to the community. 

Our culture and values

We believe that God sent Jesus to reveal God's love for all creation. We give voice to this belief in our worship. We express it through care for all, especially those who are on the margins (we are involved with a lot of foodbanks) and through attention to the world around us and commitment to an eco-focused way of living (several churches already hold A Rocha awards).

We have two EDI officers and offer regular training. EDI is always an item on circuit meeting agendas.
