Worker Support Centre

Who we are

The Worker Support Centre (WSC) is a Scottish charity working in partnership with migrant workers at risk of exploitation across Scotland to secure their rights, challenge labour exploitation, build collective power, and drive lasting law and policy change. We are an evidence-led, worker-driven organisation with strong governance and a growing track record of policy impact. We're building a movement of people who welcome all workers, working towards a world where we are all safe, valued and respected at work — no matter our job or nationality.

Our culture and values

Support - We ensure people’s basic needs are met by supporting them with problems  in the workplace and beyond.

Literacy - We help workers to understand their rights and to gather evidence that can be used to enforce the law. 

Power - We strengthen worker solidarity and help build collective power to jointly shape safer, fairer workplaces.

Deterrence - We partner with workers to ensure  labour market enforcement bodies meet their needs and to improve the processes for enforcing labour rights in the UK.

Influence - We partner with workers to create policy solutions and to create spaces for change.
