Who we are

YMCA Worcestershire is an independent local charity supporting over 4,000 children, young people and families every year. We work countywide to create safety, stability, confidence and opportunity for people facing disadvantage, helping them build stronger, healthier futures.

Housing & Support - We provide safe, stable accommodation for young people facing homelessness as a social landlord, with a mix of supported and independent housing. Residents in supported living are supported to build life skills for independent living.

Early Years Education - We nurture the care and education of over 300 young children in our nurseries, providing them with the foundation they need for a brighter future.

Bridge Family Project - HMP Hewell - Helping children and young people stay connected with their fathers through parenting programs, family days, and initiatives like Story Book Dads, where fathers record stories for their children enabling them to hear their fathers voice for a bedtime story.

Youth Development - Delivering youth clubs, outreach, and mentoring, we provide safe spaces, trusted adults, and targeted support building confidence, resilience, wellbeing, and positive pathways for young people facing challenges.
