About us
Who we are
A Rocha UK is a unique Christian nature conservation charity, with a mission to mobilise Christians and churches to care for the environment. Our programmes include the high-profile Eco Church scheme for local churches, the Partners in Action conservation programme for Christian land managers, and the fast-growing Wild Christian programme for individuals and families. We recently played a major role in the Climate Sunday initiative in the run up to COP26.
We have recently moved to a new specially fitted office designed for hybrid working and with a vision to be a hub for Christians engaging in the environment. Our external programmes are growing fast, and we now have ambitious goals for increasing our external impact over the next five years. In the last few years, we have also achieved a significant upgrade in our internal financial systems and processes, IT and HR practices. We have a staff of 24 working from our London office and remotely in England, Wales, plus many volunteers.
