Who we are
Age UK Oxfordshire is an independent local charity with over 40 years of experience in promoting the well-being of older people throughout the county of Oxfordshire, and helping to make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. We are dedicated to working with and for people aged 50 and over, and carers of older people across the county to help them to: Lead happy, active and as fulfilled lives as possible Overcome the barriers which prevent them receiving what’s rightfully theirs Communicate their needs in order to shape the policies and services of local and national agencies We also care for older people - if they need extra help - in safe, secure and welcoming environments and act as their advocates. We have many resources and services to offer older people, their families and carers, including our many professional staff and volunteers.
