Who we are

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading charity for homeless young people.

Supporting over 10,900 16-25 year olds working directly in London, Manchester, Yorkshire, Barnsley and the North East of England, we help them into a safe place to live, give them a health assessment and plan support for their individual mental and physical health needs. We start them on a path to more independence and a job.

Our overall aim is to end youth homelessness changing young homeless people’s lives to achieve brighter futures.

The people that make it happen...

You've heard about the young people we support, but it's the people - the staff, the board, the partners, the ambassadors and our Patron - that make it happen every day. They take every pound raised and every bed made and turn it into a future for a homeless young person.

Centrepoint is not a 9-5! We run hostels seven days a week, every week of the year - even Christmas day. Our staff are dedicated to making sure we can help every young person that comes through our door, from support workers, to fundraising, to finance and our board.

Considering the challenges homeless young people are facing when they arrive at Centrepoint, we're incredibly proud of this. Through a mixture of their own determination and the right educational, health, job and life skills support – young people's futures look very different after they come to Centrepoint.
