Child Brain Injury Trust

The Child Brain Injury Trust supports families whose lives have been devastated by childhood acquired brain injury. This is a type of injury to the brain that happens after birth and could be the result of an accident, an illness like meningitis, poisoning, a stroke or tumour. We have a national network of Child & Family Support Co-Ordinators who work with families from the point where the child is admitted to hospital and we support them as the child returns to the family home, education and much more. We work with families for as long as they need us and each support package is tailored to the needs of the child themselves.
