Church Army

Who we are

Church Army is a mission-focused community of people who are transforming lives and communities through the work of evangelists, staff and supporters. We are committed to sharing the Christian faith through words and action in a variety of contexts across the British Isles and Ireland.

Our vision is for everyone, everywhere to encounter God's love and be empowered to transform their communities through faith shared in words and action. Everything we do is underpinned by our values.

We find out what each community needs and share Jesus with them in their context. We love and work in close partnership with the local church; centres of mission enable and empower the local church and individuals in their own evangelism and outreach. We put our faith in to action through our commitment to positive social action and empowering others. We are achieving this through the implementation of our DARE strategy which aims to better fulfil our mission: "to see people come to a living faith in Jesus Christ".

We work in some of the most deprived communities in the UK and Ireland and work with children and teenagers, the elderly and everyone in between. We work with those who are homeless, lonely, those experiencing self-harm, who are at risk of gang or knife crime, the unemployed and those who are struggling to make ends meet. We are privileged to see first hand the difference Jesus makes in bringing positive transformation to people's lives.
