About us
Who we are
Citizens Advice Dudley and Wolverhampton was created in January 2021 with 2 Citizens Advice organisations merging. These 2 separate organisations were over 50 years old each and the merger has brought exciting opportunities for the workforce, communities and individuals. Today, we support millions of people nationally, in 11 different advice enquiry areas and locally across Dudley and Wolverhampton, we support over 15,000 per year.
Citizens Advice was born the day after World War 2 started, in 1939, helping people with the issues they were facing because of the War. Today, we are a network of over 250 individual charities, affiliated to National Citizens Advice, who are the campaigning arm of the membership.
See more about the National Organisation at Citizens Advice website. For more information about our independent charity and the services we deliver across Dudley Borough and the City of Wolverhampton, see our website details.
