Who we are

Enfield Carers Centre (ECC) is a growing charity, established in ~February 2010 to support the borough's 30000 unpaid/family carers.

3 in 5 of us will become carers and some point in our lives.  It isn't always a choice, because circumstances and accidents occur which thrust people into having look after someone because of illness, disability, substance misuse or frailty.

At ECC we help carers by providing a range of support services:

  • General advice & information
  • Benefits Advice
  • Counselling
  • Adult/Peer support groups
  • Training
  • Social and leisure breaks
  • Legal information
  • Money & debt advice
  • Carers Assessments
  • Young Carers support (5ys - 18ys)
  • Carers Emergency Card Scheme
