Established in 1853, today our charity continues to support the famlies of those that work in the UK fashion and textile industry. Whether a parent or carer works in a supermarket that sells clothing, a high street fashion retailer, textile production, button maker, footwear or soft furnishings, (and many more!), this means they can apply for a grant, to help pay for essential items for their children. This year, we will have awarded £400K in grants and have an ambitious growth strategy to reach £500K by June 2021. Covid 19 has had a devastating impact on many high street fashion retailers, meaning that increasingly, families are struggling. By awarding a grant for the important items such as school uniform, bedding clothing and shoes, our charity can help to relieve the worry for the parent or carer.
