Fellowship of Reconciliation

Who we are

The Fellowship of Reconciliation (England and Scotland) is a movement of Christians who speak for peace, act for justice and spread hope through the power of non-violence. Founded in 1914, we have supported individuals to live out their faith through prayer, protest, education and action in every decade since.  We are one branch in a global network (International FOR) and we value our international links.

We are an ecumenical charity, drawing supporters from many different church traditions, and aim to empower them to take their action alongside other Christians, other faiths and the wider world.  Our education work sees information and worship material being produced. Our campaigning work mixes protest on the streets with advocacy work to elected officials.Our international links combine supporting real grass-roots peacemaking in areas of conflict around the world with engaging with our UN representation.

We are a small, friendly, staff team with a big history. As a movement lead by our membership we have often been prophetic in our actions on race relations, the environment and more. We are seeking to develop and change to serve the future and look forward to your skills help us do that.
