Who we are
Delivered by FESTIVAL. ORG, Greenwich+Docklands International Festival (GDIF) is London’s leading festival of free outdoor theatre and performing arts.
Running from 28 August, GDIF is set to be the UK’s first full festival since lockdown. Much of the programme has been curated in response to recent events, including large-scale installations celebrating the NHS and the environment, a spotlight on black-led artistic work, and a pop-up programme of socially distanced touring performances.
Volunteers help create the Festival atmosphere and ensure that our audiences have the best possible experience. This is more important than ever in 2020; we hope the Festival will offer opportunities for togetherness and inspiration after months of isolation.
