Who we are
With Girlguiding girls have fun, adventure and the space to discover their potential. Girls take what they do in guiding with them as they grow up. Everything from working in a team, to taking the lead, to speaking out on issues they care about. It helps them develop the skills and confidence to become the young women they want to be and to make a difference to the world around them.
At the heart of guiding are the unit meetings that girls go along to each week.
Volunteering at unit meetings means getting messy, meeting new people and running activities that help girls discover their potential. You’ll volunteer directly with young people and can choose to work with girls in Rainbows, Brownies, Guides or Rangers.
You don't need to have been involved in guiding before or have loads of spare time to make a big difference. Whatever your skills and interests there’s a role to suit you.
