About us
Who we are
Hope is here. The Global Returns Project (GRP) helps individuals and businesses give to powerful charities protecting our planet.
We are a fast-moving startup and a UK-registered charity. We’ve already mobilised nearly £1.5 million for top climate solutions and are working to unlock at least £10 million total by 2028.
Let’s face it: the planet is in crisis, and we’re not making much progress. Charities protecting our planet can turn the tide. They have the skills, strategies and networks to deliver fast and global impact. But less than 2% of philanthropy goes to climate mitigation. How can we get these charities the funding they need?
We find great charities for individuals and businesses – for free. With experts on our team, we research thousands of charities to find the fastest paths to global impact for all the planet’s biggest problems. Then we prove it for our donors through regular re-assessments and rigorous impact reporting.
By partnering with wealth advisers and corporates, we’re unlocking new philanthropy to deliver urgent solutions for our planet. We are ready to scale up rapidly and make a difference during this ‘Decisive Decade’ for our planet.
Our culture and values
We’re a small, thoughtful team grounded in mutual respect. We care deeply about the planet and the people we work with – and we make space for honest conversations, shared learning and personal growth. We have a good sense of humour, too; it helps keep us grounded when tackling tough issues like climate change and nature loss. If you’re looking for a workplace that’s human, ambitious and genuinely supportive, we’d love to hear from you.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
We’re committed to building a team where different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives are genuinely valued. We’re an equal opportunities employer and oppose all forms of discrimination in recruitment and the workplace. Our approach is grounded in fairness, transparency and open communication at every stage – from hiring through to progression and day-to-day team life.
While selection is always based on merit, we also recognise the importance of elevating underrepresented voices in climate action. We particularly encourage applications from people with disabilities and from ethnically or culturally diverse backgrounds across the UK.
