Who we are

Healthy Me Healthy Communities (HMHC) has been extremely successful in growing since its start-up in 2013 to a well-respected social enterprise.

HMHC’s purpose statement:

“Reducing health inequalities together”

We do this by:

• Engaging people through the power of food
• Involving residents most affected by poverty, exclusion and inequalities
• Coproducing community services with residents, VCSE and statutory partners
• Bringing healthy food options to more people
• Connecting people to services and support networks that address the some of the underlying causes of health inequalities

And we achieve this through our services:

• Manchester Community Food Centre & No.93 Café & Kitchen
• Community organiser training
• Volunteer opportunities and training
• Food Workshops
