Who we are
Home-Start East Sussex believe that everyone should be able to live in a safe and nurturing family where every member can enjoy a positive and fulfilling life.
Home Start East Sussex works one-to-one and in groups to support, encourage and develop the increased safety, confidence and independence of local families who have experienced adversity.
We support families and victim/survivors of domestic abuse to build stronger, more resilient relationships, encouraging a more assertive approach to decision making, communication and feeling, and being in control of your own life:
Services in 2022-23
- Being Family Programme: 6 week online group for parents/caregivers of babies under 12 months.and the option to have one-to-one volunteer support.
- Lotus Domestic Abuse Recovery Programme (Group run online and in the community)
- Who's in Charge? online group for parents with abusive children/teenagers.
- IDVA service: one-to-one support for victim/survivors of domestic abuse.
