Everyone knows what it’s like to get sick, or see someone we love fall ill. Most of us can readily access the medicines we need to treat these illnesses. But around the world many easily treatable diseases can mean chronic pain, a poor quality of life, or even a death sentence.
International Health Partners (IHP) helps people in hard-to-reach, vulnerable and disaster-hit communities get better access to medicine. We coordinate the safe and responsible donation of medical products to areas of the world where the needs are greatest, so that people don’t suffer needlessly from treatable illnesses.
We respond rapidly to humanitarian disasters, support long-term healthcare development projects and equip doctors with supplies for short-term medical missions.
Coordinating the donation of medicine to areas of the world where it is most needed requires expertise. Our regulated systems and logistics know-how make it possible for us to work with healthcare companies, NGOs and medics to save lives. In 2018 we sent over 4 million treatments, reaching individuals in over 60 countries.
IHP is a UK charity (1105455) and a licensed and regulated distributor of medical aid.
Our Christian faith underpins all that we do. It motivates us to care for those in need, and give our best in all circumstances, as an expression of God's love. We serve the poor in health without regard for ethnic or religious background, focusing on where the need is greatest.
