Who we are

Jigsaw South East is an independent charity supporting bereaved children and young people, and those facing bereavement, across Surrey and parts of West and East Sussex, and West Kent.

We believe that no child should face bereavement alone. 

Our dedicated and structured support helps children and young people to understand and deal with the range of emotions they feel as they cope with their bereavement and communicate about the person they have lost.  We help to reduce isolation, improve self-confidence and resilience, and provide coping strategies to help children and young people move forward with their lives. 

There are no statutory services for child bereavement support in the UK, and we are the only local organisation offering both pre-bereavement and grief support in any circumstances, free and with such a range of services across our local communities.
