Who we are
The Kennet and Test Valley Circuit in North West Hampshire and West Berkshire offers a warm welcome to visitors at any one of our six Churches where we worship in a variety of different styles. Within each Church you will have the opportunity to deepen your faith, learn of the work of the Churches and be involved in the spiritual life of our communities.
Our mission is to proclaim and reflect the love of God in all that we do.
Our Circuit welcomes new people and ideas. We are committed to putting the resources in place to help us grow. We are therefore actively looking to recruit for 2 roles across our area:
- Local Lay Pastor (Children and Families) based in Andover - To be responsible for the pastoral care and development of the work programme for children and families within the church
- Pastoral Worker with Older People based across Hungerford, Newbury & Thatcham - To develop a sustainable care home ministry from which it is anticipated there will be missional and development opportunities
In addition there may be an opportunity for a community-based chaplain in Newbury to be responsible for the pastoral care and development of the youth work programmes for the age range 11-18 years.
