Who we are
Lewisham Speaking Up is an advocacy charity for people with learning disabilities in the London borough of Lewisham.
We support people to speak up and get their voices heard. This is called advocacy.
We are independent. This means that we are not part of the council or other services.
We speak up for independence and power for people with learning disabilities.
In addition to providing 1-2-1 advocacy, we also support self-advocacy through our quarterly People's Parliament and other smaller self-advocacy groups.
