Who we are
Life Cycle UK is an award-winning charity that uses bikes and cycling to transform lives.
We deliver a wide range of activities from Bikeability training - to help children and young people to become active and confident everyday cyclists – to inclusive cycling programs which enable older people, people affected by poor mental health and people with visual impairments to cycle.
We work in a number of prisons, teaching mechanical skills and helping prison colleagues to gain skills and experience by refurbishing bikes. Together we refurbish 900+ bikes annually; these are sold at affordable prices to give people access to low-cost, independent, sustainable travel.
Last year, we worked with 6,500+ individuals to support them to cycle.
