Who we are

Making Music is the UK membership organisation for leisure-time music, with over 3,800 music groups in membership, made up of about 220,000 hobby musicians.

We support the groups in their creative pastime with practical services to help them run their activity, providing artistic development opportunities, getting them connected to like-minded people, and acting as the voice for the sector.

Our friendly team in London look after and support our members, and our managers in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland make sure those nations have their specific needs addressed, too.
