About us
Who we are
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is responsible providing pre-hospital critical care across the six Midlands counties of: Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, the West Midlands and Worcestershire. The charity also delivers secondary cover to surrounding areas, such as Warwickshire and mid Wales. Our services are provided by operating three air ambulance helicopters and two critical care cars, which serves the growing Midlands population pf six-million plus people.
Charity Mission
To provide patients with outstanding pre-hospital care and life saving intervention through the operation of helicopter-led emergency medical services (HEMS) - we will continue to save more lives and improve survivors’ quality of life through the provision of a comprehensive, transparent, clinical and operational helicopter led emergency service aligned to changing patient need and demand.
