Who we are
Mummy's Star is the only charity in the UK and Ireland specifically supporting families when the mother is diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy or within a year of giving birth.
Providing a wide range of advocacy, emotional and financial support as well as education programmes for student and existing health professionals, the charity has made a significant impact since it began in 2013.
Changing approaches to maternity care around a cancer diagnosis and providing much clarity around an often misunderstood area, we are making a significant difference to families in one of the most isolating and traumatic sitiations imaginable for any family.
