About us
Who we are
Our mission is to transform access to physical therapies for people with muscular dystrophy (MD) in the Midlands. MD Support Centre was set up as a Charity in 2012 and is led by people with, or affected by, MD. From our main centre in Coventry, and with satellite clinics in Birmingham, the Black Country, and Leicester, we currently support over 450 adults with MD, by providing specialist physiotherapy, osteopathy and complementary therapies on a long-term basis. We are the only organisation in the Midlands region to do so, and one of only two in the UK.
