Who we are

My Sisters’ House CIC is a grassroots organisation set up by a group of local women. We opened the first drop in May 15 – and we are the only women centre in West Sussex. Embedded in the Bognor Regis community, we work across the coastal area of West Sussex.

Our beneficiaries are women and girls who have suffered violence and abuse and are deeply traumatised and go onto face multiple problems like very low self-esteem, poor mental and physical health and turning to drugs and alcohol as coping mechanisms.

We have a unique reach within our community and fill essential gaps in statutory provision. As the ‘net beneath the net,’ we meet the needs of marginalised women and provide them with a voice. We are presently supporting a high number of women who have totally disengaged with statutory provision.

Since June 2015 we have worked with 1,500 women, with a steady growth year on year:
