Who we are
Open Sight Hampshire (Hampshire Association for the Care of the Blind) is a small independent charity that is making a difference to the lives of thousands of visually impaired people in Hampshire every year.
Our Mission is to provide a lifetime of support to visually impaired people of all ages and deliver expertise in every aspect of sight loss.
Our Vision is to be able to offer a full range of practical and emotional support throughout the County, including a unique home-based tailored service, giving our clients the confidence to become independent and maintain this throughout their life.
For over 100 years, Open Sight Hampshire has provided uninterrupted support to the blind and partially sighted community of Hampshire (including the Cities of Southampton and Portsmouth) and has a reputation for making a difference through the delivery of high-quality services and social support for people of all ages.
