Who we are

We’re a specialist medical imaging centre working to improve the lives of people affected by cancer and other serious conditions.

Why we're unique

Our staff are cancer imaging experts and we attract specialist referrals not only from our region, but from across the world. We're leaders in a number of clinical areas, in particular whole-body MRI scans for cancer.

Due to our charitable status and the generous support from our donors we are able to provide patients with a level of service and access to imaging technology that is superior to what they can expect in most other centres. Our ethical business model means we are totally focussed on patient benefit, and any surplus we generate is reinvested in patient care and medical research to advance cancer imaging and care.

What we can offer you

Although Paul Strickland Scanner Centre operates as an independent medical charity totally focussed on ensuring patients have access to the best possible care, all our staff are on NHS contracts.
