Who we are
The Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF) was established as an independent charity in 2019 by the founders of Quadrature Capital, committing a portion of annual profits to fighting the climate emergency.
We aim to tackle the global climate emergency.
Our species, environment and planet face an unprecedented global threat that will permanently change the course of our future. People are becoming more aware of the risks climate change brings, but collectively we haven’t yet responded with enough urgency. Greenhouse gases continue to build up in the atmosphere and global average temperatures are increasing. We are committed to helping change this situation.
We provide philanthropic funding for people and organisations working to deliver the conditions for rapid change.
A huge number of solutions already exist, but we need the collective will to implement them. We believe a lot of brilliant initiatives can be built upon, but we are also keen to take whichever new paths we find that offer the best chances of success.
