About us
Who we are
Rainforest Trust UK is a small but fast-growing British charity working in partnership with Rainforest Trust in the U.S. to save the world's most threatened rainforests and other tropical eco-systems. To date Rainforest Trust has protected over 50 million acres of rainforests, and aims to have protected or be in the process of protecting 125 million acres by the end of 2025.
The British charity was set up six years ago to help generate awareness and funds in the UK, and we are committed to the mission to protect the world's rainforests to protect endangered species, empower Indigenous communities and fight climate change. We are now seeking to take the next step in expanding our organisation with the goal of becoming one of the most recognised and effective conservation charities in the country. For the rainforests!
Our culture and values
When asked what our staff love most about working at Rainforest Trust UK they say it is feeling they are making a difference and taking direct action on some of the biggest issues of our time - climate change, biodiversity loss and Indigenous Peoples' rights. They also like being part of a small, friendly, and supportive team, where they feel they can have a direct input into decisions and our direction.

We have a clear reporting procedure for any issues to be identified and will report these, and our progress on our identified EDI goals, to the trustees annually.
