Who we are
The vision of Regenerate-RISE is to eradicate isolation across the UK and we are currently working across the borough of Wandsworth, based in Putney SW15.
We provide a combination of services which include lunches, outings, activities, pastoral and practical support, outreach, hospital and home visiting. We believe in celebrating life, fulfilling dreams, forming friendships and giving older people a reason to live. We provide gifts to older people on the wards at St George's Hospital and provided 33,262 individual support services during Covid-19. We have a new RISE+ project that is a Discharge to Home service working in St George's and Queen Mary's Hospital but provides support to people across both Wandsworth and Merton.
We are leading the way in the care of the elderly and are in the process of planning to build a 12 bed Reablement Unit for older people on discharge from hospital above our Centre. We will be combining day and residential services to improve the lives of all who attend. We have a brilliant staff team currently of 10 supported by 33 volunteers - it is an exciting time of change and aim to continue to be on the front line of care for the elderly within our communities.
