About us
Who we are
We are Rochdale and District Mind A local charity and membership organisation. We provide a range of services to support people with mental health and wellbeing issues. Our services are designed by people with lived experience for service users. We are focused on wellbeing and recovery, and supporting people to lead fulfilling lives.
We are not the same as National Mind but we are affiliated to them. This means that we work with Mind nationally but we are independent. We raise our own funds and provide the support that is needed locally in the Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale area.
We do this by offering a wide range of information, support and services which are co-designed in response to local needs. In addition we support local strategic developments that support the wellbeing of people who live and work in the area.
