Who we are
Sunnyside Community Playgroup runs morning sessions for pre-school children in Berkhamsted, with the focus on learning and development through play.
We give children a stimulating blend of education and fun in a nurturing environment.
We have a group of talented staff who are trained in offering specialised care for these early formative years.
The church hall we use is light and airy with extensive facilities. Our activities are changed and adapted each session to give a wide variety of learning experiences for the children, and we encourage both child initiated and adult led play.
We also have access to an allotment, which provides great opportunities for creative, playful learning.The children enjoy digging, weeding and searching for new signs of growth in our small plot.
