Thames21 is an environmental charity putting healthy rivers at the heart of community life. Through environmental improvements, education, research and advocacy efforts we inspire and influence effective and lasting change by working hand-in-hand with communities to deliver tangible and measurable improvements for urban rivers.

We mobilise thousands of volunteers every year, working along the riverbank to transform neglected rivers into areas that everyone can use and enjoy.

Restore the capital’s network of rivers through the power of nature

We work to clean and green the capital’s 400-mile network of rivers through innovative solutions to boost biodiversity and restore nature.

Build a climate resilient London

We help to build more engaged communities and healthier rivers better able to adapt to the impacts of climate change, now and into the future.
