Ever wondered what our idea of home says about us?
Our mission at the Geffrye Museum of the Home is to reveal and rethink the ways in which we live, in order to live better together.
Join us as we create exhibitions, events, collaborations, research and debate – all from our home in the Geffrye Almshouses in Hoxton, East London
It is a time for ambitious growth and development at the museum, with a £18.1 million capital development project, Unlocking the Geffrye, to open up the Grade 1 listed building and period gardens to 50% more visitors each year and launch new spaces for creative learning, leisure and income generation. We are currently in delivery stage with completion due in 2020.
