Who we are

The Green Party is the only major political party in the UK that is committed fully to a life based on democracy and justice within the planet's limits.

The Green Party has big, bold ideas to create a confident and caring Britain that we can all be proud of. We aren’t afraid to hope for a better future or to be honest about how we get there. We believe in being brave, in speaking our minds, and in standing up for what matters. We are proud to do politics differently.

The 2024 UK general election saw the Green Party make great strides forward, electing a group of 4 Green MPs to Westminster for the first time and becoming the clear choice for voters looking for a positive alternative to the tired old parties and their dispiriting offer of managed decline, and no real hope or real change.

This is an exciting time for the Green Party. Voters crying out for change are turning to us and we've seen a huge increase in our membership.
