The Zacharias Trust is a UK registered Christian charity with a friendly, welcoming culture and a warm working atmosphere, where the spiritual as well as functional aspects of work are treated as important.
Our mission is to help the thinker believe and the believer to think.
Based in the city of Oxford, the trust was established in 1997 as a response to an increasingly secular Europe. It aims to respond to the big questions and objections that today’s culture is asking of the Christian faith. It was also founded to come alongside the Church by equipping Christians to share and defend their faith with confidence and in an intelligent and articulate way.
The trust is part of a wider global organisation Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM), which was founded in 1984. RZIM supports a global team of speakers and has offices in numerous locations including: The United States, Europe, South Africa, Middle East, India, Singapore and Canada.
Over the years, the organisation has grown in its outreach, working addressing culture-shapers in the media, academic, government and business world. The Trust usually works in partnership, responding to invitations from others, knowing that there is a local presence to continue the work that we do. We also offer a range of external training events and courses, which are detailed on our website.
The UK office is also the headquarters for RZIM EMEA (covering the European, Middle Eastern and African region). Our team in the UK includes Amy Orr-Ewing, Tanya Walker, Professor John Lennox, Simon Edwards and lecturers and tutors at OCCA The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics.
The office is home to OCCA The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics, where we seek to train and equip more apologists to communicate the credibility of the gospel.
