Who we are
Trafford Carers Centre is the Lead provider for Trafford Council and Trafford CCG to deliver first line support and information services to unpaid carers in Trafford. Our vision is to promote a society in which carers are fully understood, valued, supported and enabled to perform their caring role. Three in five of us will be a Carer at some point in our lives, and while it can be rewarding and fulfilling, it can also be physically and mentally demanding. Carers often put their own needs last and can end up feeling stressed, depressed and exhausted. We support Carers in the Trafford area through a number of services such as casework, counselling and therapies, crisis and support funds and our Young Carers Programme.
