From the very moment a child or young adult enters Bristol Children's Hospital, The Grand Appeal is here for them. We’re here for the families too, who find themselves – often unexpectedly – in one of the scariest situations a parent or carer can go through.
From pioneering research, innovation and life-saving equipment, to family accommodation and specialist support staff, we provide care, support and a lifeline to enable a family to cope with what lies ahead, whatever the outcome.
But that's not all...
Since 1995, we have worked in partnership with Aardman Animations who generously allow us to use the multi-Academy Award® winning characters Wallace & Gromit to spearhead our fundraising. We work on a regional, national and international level to raise money and engage with a range of fundraisers and partners in support of our cause and to build our brand.
We also run the most successful charity arts trails in the world through Gromit Unleashed, engaging fans in Bristol, the UK, and around the world with truly innovative fundraising events. Whether we are delivering life-changing projects or creating new fundraising concepts, we are constantly developing creative ways to raise more money to help more children.
