About us
Who we are
Yeldall Manor is a residential drug and alcohol recovery centre near Reading for men struggling with addiction. We are a healing community with a holistic approach. For over 45 years, we have been helping men to overcome serious drug or alcohol addictions and return to society to live new lives, drug, alcohol and crime free.
We believe that recovery is possible and that recovery is not just abstinence. It involves learning to live comfortably as a sober, productive member of the community. It involves learning how to work, develop personal relationships, strengthen family ties, and enjoy positive leisure activities – all without the need for drugs or alcohol. We are a Christian organisation and all our staff and volunteers have a Christian faith.

Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Yeldall Manor is committed to encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion among our workforce and residents, and eliminating unlawful discrimination. We believe that one of the core values of our faith is the need to treat every individual in a way that respects the dignity, uniqueness and intrinsic worth of each person. Yeldall Manor acknowledges the value of diversity and embraces different life experiences and attributes as a positive contribution to the charity, which promotes both client satisfaction and the reputation of the charity. The aim is for our resident community to be truly representative of all sections of society, and for each resident to feel respected and able to participate fully in the recovery programme.
