The Young Gamers and Gamblers Education Trust (YGAM) was formed in 2014 following its founders’ devastating experiences of gambling-related harm. YGAM’s vision is that all young and vulnerable people are safe from gaming and gambling related harms. YGAM’s social purpose is to inform, educate, safeguard and build digital resilience amongst young and vulnerable people, helping them to make informed decisions and understand the consequences around gambling and gaming. YGAM has grown quickly over the last few years and continues on that trajectory, with more recruitment planned during 2021. YGAM currently employs around 40 staff. More information about YGAM’s work can be found on our website.
