We are looking for two Community Energy Engagement Advisers to join our Retail and Cadent teams to deliver energy support sessions in local communities using the Scope retail stores in the North or South regions.
Fixed term 2 years, 35 hours a week
We are recruiting for 2 positions, one in the North Region and one in the South Region.
Location: Base to be confirmed, working within the North or South region with some working from home.
The role
As Community Energy Engagement Adviser, you will be empowering individuals and families through workshops and one-to-one support. You will train retail staff and volunteers to engage with individuals and families, with a particular emphasis on energy advice and support.
The service will help customers through their unfair extra costs and additional vulnerability to fuel poverty.
The successful candidate must pass an Enhanced DBS check
You will:
- Plan and deliver training for retail staff and volunteers on energy support.
- Work with local organisations to reach those needing energy advice.
- Create and share information on energy saving, bill management, and renewable energy benefits.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of community sessions and individual interventions, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Keep updated on energy sector changes, legislation, grants, and best practices.
- Ensure operations meet community needs and organisational goals.
- Follow organisational policies and industry regulations.

Contact a Family is a national charity for families with disabled children. We provide information, advice and support, and bring families together so they can support each other. We campaign to improve their circumstances, and for their right to be included and equal in society.
Your role:
This a front-line role, delivering a family support service in person in Lambeth. The successful candidate will be based in our offices in Lambeth. Much of the work will involve outreach and delivery in Early Years settings, child development centres and nurseries throughout Lambeth. The role will involve working closely with the Lambeth Early Years Specialists Health Visitors and Paediatricians. The role will involve planning and organising workshops and information sessions, drop-in sessions and ongoing family case work.
You will provide an advice, information and guidance service to parents of very young children aged 0-2years,
You will assess families' needs and plan actions with parents' participation as per their needs. You will encourage parent carers' empowerment and involvement.
What we are looking for:
- Experience of working with and supporting families who have disabled children, and in particular, working with families who have disabled children aged 0-2 years
- Good communication responsive to the needs of families of very young children who may be facing uncertainty and challenges at the beginning of understanding their child’s additional needs
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Knowledge and experience of the issues and concerns that affect families who have disabled children e.g. leisure provision, education, respite care.
- Knowledge of issues relating to maximising income, tackling debt and budgeting, accessing financial support, tax credits and other financial issues.
- Good communication, time management and networking skills.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Administration
- General office and administrative duties to ensure effective service delivery
- Providing phone and email cover for the office

Disability Advice Service Lambeth (dasl) is Lambeth’s peer-led Disabled People’s Organisation.
You will lead a two-year project contributing to the work of the No Wrong Door partnership – local organisations and local residents working together to ensure there is ‘No Wrong Door’ for Black Disabled people seeking employment, as they can expect excellent support from any organisation.
We want to change the system, influencing employment support providers and their Commissioners to ensure support for Black Disabled people who are seeking employment is appropriate, accessible and inclusive.
You will have excellent project management skills and use your lived, personal experience of race and disability equity issues to implement change, working collaboratively with residents (Lived Experience Leads), partner organisations and employment support providers. Your role will involve working primarily with Black Disabled Lambeth residents. You will understand and encounter the intersections between being Black and Disabled and the barriers to employment and be able to demonstrate creative and people-centred approaches to influencing change.

Job Summary
We are looking for an Arts Sector Employment Coach will support young adults with SEND to apply for jobs within the Arts sector and coach them through the recruitment and induction process.
The role incorporates:
· Working with the Arts organisations in making their recruitment processes more accessible to candidates with disabilities
· Providing job coaching support to induct the new employee into their role.

About the Role

We are excited to be advertising the role of Psychotherapy Service Manager at Respond, to lead our team and the development of our psychotherapy services with autistic people and people with learning disabilities who have experienced trauma and their families. Many of our clients may have experienced complex or multiple traumatic experiences including sexual violence, domestic abuse and neglect.
The Psychotherapy Service provides predominantly longer-term therapeutic support of a year or more, depending on how the work is funded, to an average of 130 unique individuals per year. The current team of 10 are made up of 4 senior therapists (reporting to the postholder), 4 therapists and 2 honoraries in training, the majority of whom are Arts therapists and work within a psychodynamic and/or systemic model.
We welcome applications from experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor/Psychotherapists, Arts therapists, Psychologists or Family Therapists who are passionate about our work. You will work psychodynamically, champion our trauma informed approach including our reflective practice model and have the opportunity to influence and shape the development of the psychotherapy service. Leading the small team, you will provide clinical leadership and be Safeguarding lead, ensuring we continue to provide high quality psychotherapy services. We are offering the role at 4-5 days per week, working in a hybrid manner flexibly. You can also hold your own small case load of clients, supervisees and/or consultancy work within the role.
This is a unique and specialist role and we recognise that you may have more experience in one clinical area or client group than another, given the breadth of our work and whilst you may be experienced in working psychodynamically as a therapist and as a line manager, you may be newer to leading a service for example.
