The Fundraising Planning Officer will support the production of high-level fundraising business plans and priorities ensuring they are aligned with our new strategy and strategic objectives. The role will be highly collaborative with exposure to RBLs varied fundraising portfolio. You will build close relationships colleagues across Fundraising to develop communication plans, priority work streams and requirements from Marketing. Ensuring that all donors have a positive experience with RBL throughout their lifetime.
You will be eager to hit the ground running to understand our extensive income streams and donor profiles. Having the ability to interpret data and insight you will digest, evaluate and align multiple substantial fundraising initiatives and products. You will support the production and then the monitoring of objectives and KPIs to maximise success.

I am delighted to be working alongside an amazing children’s charity in search of a Supporter Care Administrator. This is a full-time, London based hybrid role for 2 – 3 months. As Supporter Care Administrator your role will be to manage all supporter administration, including database import and export and fundraising finance processes alongside the Commercial Director and Fundraising Managers. 

Main duties:

Responsible for the oversight of database activity making sure that robust processes are in place and information is handled with efficiency and accuracy.

To help create a robust Raisers Edge stewardship process to use both internally and externally to the commercial team.

To ensure all supporter queries are handled and supporters are thanked in a professional and timely manner.

To ensure that invoices are processed accurately and efficiently and queries dealt with promptly and effectively

To ensure all invoices are appropriately coded and authorised before passing to the finance team for payment.

To support campaign processing with database and finance processes.

Oversight and preparation of the fundraising batching process and the imports to upload supporter information onto Raisers Edge.

Assist the team in creating RE reporting queries to allow for better analysis of supporter and financial information.

To monitor RE/finance/statutory inbox’s and deal with queries forwarding them to the correct individual.

Support the Gift Aid submissions process

Preparing data and reports to allow finance to reconcile donations received with account records.

Skills and experience:

Proficient and in depth knowledge of Raisers Edge Fundraising database.

Data Entry experience and basic understanding of financial processes.

Experience Importing & Batching on Raiser’s Edge.

Experience processing donations for a charity.

We are recruiting for a well know animal charity for temporary full time Supporter care officer based in central London, this post is for 6 months initially.

Brief overview of role
To play a key role as part of a busy Supporter Care team delivering outstanding multi-channel services to existing and potential supporters and donors, through the provision of high-quality supporter care, donation and fulfilment services.
To work closely with other fundraising teams and stakeholders to deliver an excellent service to a variety of supporters, including delivering fundraising stewardship activities.

The Role
To respond to donor and potential donor enquiries through multiple channels with the aim of complete supporter satisfaction and, encouraging supporters to retain or increase their support
To respond in appropriate tone and style in a timely manner with accurate information, following agreed contact structures and completing the necessary administration, such as collecting a donation or adding information onto the database
To take inbound and make outbound telephone calls/emails as required to new supporters, follow up queries, address concerns, verify details or thank donors.
To retain and manage information needed for contact management, using appropriate resources and reference materials, including preparing and sending briefs to the rest of the team and agencies/suppliers
To handle complaints from a variety of sources and respond sensitively and in line with agreed quality objectives
To contribute to the teams objectives by actively taking part in, or leading on specific projects
To recognise fundraising opportunities and promote them amongst the charitys supporters

The Candidate
Experience of working in a fundraising customer service environment, delivering stewardship activities, asking people for money, and understanding the importance of delivering excellent customer care
IT literate, across all standard Office software with experience of using databases and data collection.
Excellent call handling skills and the ability to respectfully, honestly and transparently adjust communication to different audiences, recognising the importance of diversity.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral.
Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail and ability to problem solve effectively.
