As the Supporter Services & Fulfilment Executive, you will be responsible for playing a key role in ensuring fundraising administration processes are effective and efficient as possible. This will involve working across the whole of the fundraising directorate to implement changes that benefit supporters as well as the fundraising teams. This role will also include managing some third-party service providers who support various fundraising activities throughout the year.
To be successful as the Supporter Services & Fulfilment Executive you will have proven experience in supporter care processes to ensure excellent engagement and loyalty. You will need a detailed orientated approach and equally have good account management capabilities. As a key contact to supporters, you will also have excellent communication skills and be able to use data effectively.

Reporting to the Head of Programmes, Gender and Humanitarian the post holder will identify, prospect and approach new institutional donors, converting them form prospects to secured funds. You will ensure the effective delivery of a portfolio of institutional and corporate grants, making sure projects are achieving key milestones and that day-to-day activities are on track. The Programme Development Manager will provide high quality project information to both internal and external stakeholders, extracting and quality assuring project data relevant for reporting, and making sure all projects are compliant with donor requirements. You will proactively manage relationships with existing donors, developing engagement strategies, sharing key information, and laying groundwork for follow-on funding. Finally, you will lead proposals for new and existing donors, coordinating inputs from Hand in Hand International and network colleagues, drafting technical inputs, and engaging with funders where required.
The ideal candidate will have an innovative approach and a strong track record in fundraising from large institutional donors; trusts and foundations, corporate foundations and governments. The main objective of the role is to identify, prospect and approach new institutional donors, converting them from prospects to secured funds. The role will be roughly 70% fundraising and 30% grant management.
As well as a demonstrable track-record securing large, multi-year grants from different types of funders, you will have experience with their thematic areas: women’s economic empowerment, value chains, livelihoods or enterprise acceleration. Experience working in development projects in Eastern Africa: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe. Experience in Afghanistan would be a plus.

The Person
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should be an experienced fundraiser with a demonstrable track record of securing funding from Trusts and Foundations. You should be comfortable developing and delivery a fundraising strategy, and of setting and monitoring fundraising budgets. Creative and persuasive, you should be a good communicator with the ability to bring to life the stories of Candlelighters that make it such a unique and special place that funders to want to support.

Day One Trauma Support – Director of Fundraising and Communications

Day One is a young, ambitious national charity dedicated to supporting people impacted by catastrophic injury. They currently deliver dedicated services in six regions and have a presence in seven NHS Major Trauma Centres. They also provide a national support service to people anywhere in the UK. Day One works extremely closely with NHS clinical services, delivering support at the bedside in the immediate aftermath of a major trauma, but also has a strong focus on the trauma networks and wider community where people are often alone and isolated trying to recover from their injuries.
Day One was registered as a charity in May 2021 and since that time has embarked on an incredible journey of development and expansion. With a growing, loyal and valued community of supporters and a powerful sphere of influence, the charity wants to do much more, aiming to have a presence across all NHS Major Trauma Centres and networks across the UK.
Key to that ambition will be a new Fundraising and Communications Director. This is a great role for an experienced senior fundraising leader to shape the charity’s future direction, building on an extremely successful start and a commitment from the Board and leadership team to invest in the right candidate who can deliver a compelling vision for fundraising and communications.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the role will provide leadership and guidance on fundraising and communications as well as sitting on the Senior Leadership Team. The post-holder will be responsible for developing and delivering a fundraising strategy that has the right balance of ambition and realism for the next three to five years, and to grow income to £1million over the next four years, taking advantage of the unique fundraising opportunity that is available to the charity at this current time.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of securing significant gifts and partnerships, as well as substantial experience of senior fundraising leadership. You will be a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and excellent communication skills. You will understand the impact and importance of storytelling in driving income and of how fundraising and communications can be managed effectively together to support income growth. What this role entails?
The primary function of the role of Senior Income Generation Manager is to assist their Director in the delivery of the Fundraising Strategy as part of the wider Income Generation & Marketing Team.

Harris Hill are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic national health charity, in their search for a Trusts and Philanthropy Fundraising Manager to join their team.
As Trusts and Philanthropy Fundraising Manager, you will contribute to the development and implementation of plans to grow income from trusts, major donors and statutory funders by developing excellent written proposals, applications and reports. You will deliver exemplar stewardship to donors which responds to their individual needs and inspires continued support, mostly through written and telephone communications but also includes participation in events, visits and meetings. You will use fundraising research resources to carry out research to identify and cultivate prospective funders. You will also collaborate with colleagues, especially in the services and research teams, to gather information representing project needs, aims and deliverables; ensuring that what is presented to funders is aligned to the delivery side of the organisation.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A successful track record in trusts fundraising including developing multi-year proposals for 5 - 6 figure gifts, and ideally experience in successfully securing and manging national lottery grant awards.
- An up-to-date knowledge of the trust fundraising landscape and a working knowledge of research sources and methodologies.
- Experience in effectively stewarding funder relationships.
- Excellent writing skills for delivering inspiring proposals and reports to a deadline.
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000
Permanent, Full-time (Part-time - 4 days per week is also considered).
Location: Remote or Hybrid role with occasional travel to the Andover Office

About the role.
The Development Manager (Operations and Stewardship) will manage and provide strategic direction for all operations in the office including gift administration, regulatory compliance (including GDPR/PECR), gift aid claims and reporting on fundraising and alumni engagement outcomes.
The post holder will use data-driven insight to make recommendations for improvements to activities and help ensure the maximum amount of philanthropic income is raised. They will project manage key materials including the annual donor impact report and bespoke stewardship reports.

About the role.
Oak Tree Animals’ Charity is looking for a new Chief Executive to provide strategic direction and act as an ambassador for the Charity, being a strong advocate for animal welfare both locally and nationally. The CEO will manage key relationships with policymakers, donors, and external stakeholders and work with the Board to steer the Senior Management Team to achieve the strategic plan.
The role will line manage the Head of Operations, Head of Income Generation and Head of Animal Welfare.
Oak Tree Animals’ Charity has expanded significantly over the last 9 years, and it is a much more complex organisation than it was previously.
The new CEO’s role will be to maintain and stabilise this creation and ensure that the charity is sustainable long term.
Who we are looking for.
We are seeking pragmatic candidates with strong leadership and people management skills to mentor and develop the passionate staff team and lead the strategic direction of the charity.
Experience of diversification of funding would be most welcome, so we welcome candidates with a fundraising background.
You will have a passion for animals as well as people, with a natural ability to build and develop relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
It is not essential to have an extensive background in the animal sector, but a strong sense of the industry and knowledge and understanding of animal welfare issues and legislation would give a definite advantage.
