About the role
As Major Gifts Manager, you'll join the charities growing philanthropy team working on a portfolio of £5-100k+ gifts where you'll steward Major Donors in Scotland and work on building a new pipeline of high networth individuals. With a warm pool of prospects, and exciting and varied programmes to talk to them about, you'll be part of a vibrant and supportive culture where people are encouraged to try new things and get creative. About you
You've got a proven track record of making the ask at the five/six figure mark. You create inspiring and emotive proposals, tailored to the individual with a focus on outcomes and impact. You're confident in picking up the phone and getting out to meet donors, where you communicate and influence effectively. You thrive in a homeworking environment, managing your time well and organising a pipeline of work independently. Whilst previous philanthropy experience would come in handy, we are open to applications from fundraisers with transferable skills and experience in other income streams but you must be able to demonstrate you understand the theory of how Philanthropy works. What we'll also need you to demonstrate is a talent for relationship building and a passion for stewardship; the ability to listen carefully and intuitively to shape opportunities for donors to give. - Project manage open challenges (e.g. London Marathon, skydiving, international bike rides etc.) including looking for new opportunities, liaison with third-party organisers, participant recruitment and participant support.
- Work collaboratively with other teams across Fundraising and MarComms to market and promote fundraising products, activities and events.
- Support the Community Partnerships and Events Lead and contribute to the development of annual plans and budgets.

- Work with Volunteering to recruit and train new volunteers
In order to be successful, you must have experienced :
- experience of fundraising in a community, challenge or mass participant event capacity
- Experience of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with individual fundraisers/supporters and of developing partnerships
- Experience of setting and working to budgets, targets and plans.
- Previous experience of managing staff and/or volunteers.
- Experience of delivering talks and presentations.
- Demonstrable track record in working with different audiences.
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- Understanding of and experience with using CRM databases.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels, on the telephone, face to face and in writing.

About the role.
As Head of Fundraising and a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll work closely with the CEO to devise the organisation’s fundraising strategy as they enter a positive and ambitious new five-year plan.

This permanent role pays a salary of £27,000 to £32,000 per annum. This is primarily a homebased role and Changing Faces are happy to consider full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE) candidates.
As the Trusts Officer, you will act as the lead relationship manager for a portfolio of trusts and foundations, primarily up to £50,000. You will support the Head of Fundraising with larger multi-year bids and applications and proactively identify funding opportunities and to further build a robust trusts pipeline.
They are looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering income from Trusts and Foundations. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skill along with demonstrable experience of producing high quality funding reports for Trusts and Foundations.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will use your passion for enabling impact locally and across the globe to be the leading voice and relationship-builder with new and existing funder partners. You will get to work with organisations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Comic Relief, UBS Optimus Foundation and many other leading UK, US and international funders. You will also utilise your existing network to identify and win new business and strategic partnerships, by finding leads, nurturing relationships and closing contracts.
As Lightful expands their reach and impact, you will have ultimate responsibility to identify, develop and steward strategic relationships with a wide array of philanthropic funders, which will enable small charities and non-profits to become more resilient through digital skills, tools and training. You will inspire the Partnerships team, be a collaborative member of Lightful’s senior leadership team and work closely with a highly passionate and engaged board of directors and colleagues across the Programme, Impact, Engineering, Design, Finance and People teams.
The successful candidate will have a varied set of skills and experiences, with strong commercial acumen and a deep knowledge of the philanthropic sector and a proven track record of developing plans and executing those plans to reach large revenue targets, ideally from an existing network within the sector.
