Reporting to the Project Finance Manager, this role will run efficient programme financial accounting, financial management and financial reporting processes for donor funded programmes and grants. This role will support the full life cycle of grants, from donor proposal to final reporting and will work closely with Finance and Programme teams as well as in-country staff, partner agencies and external Donors.

The Role

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a newly created fundraising products team that's responsible for both new and innovative product development and our sector leading virtual events programme. With ambitious plans to expand our supporter-led fundraising offerings over the next three years, supported by investment, organizational backing, and audience insights, this role offers a unique opportunity for growth and impact.

As the Fundraising Products Officer, you'll be instrumental in delivering and refining a diverse range of innovative fundraising products. Your key focus will be on meeting net income targets while ensuring an exceptional experience for our supporters. Reporting to the Fundraising Products Manager and with direct oversight of the Fundraising Products Assistant you'll be driving initiatives to attract, nurture, and retain supporters.

Collaborating closely with colleagues across the community and events teams, you'll contribute to developing new propositions to engage both existing and untapped audiences. Throughout, you'll be encouraged and supported to explore, experiment, and think outside the box.

Responsibilities:

Product and Project Management

• To help plan, deliver and develop portfolio of products, across both virtual events, community and event fundraising disciplines, to achieve KPIs and income targets.
• To project manage and lead on the successful delivery of fundraising products, ensuring clear schedules are in place and internal teams and other stakeholders are briefed and managed appropriately.
• To develop and deliver communication and content plans, maximising engagement from supporters and, in turn, remittance and average gift.

Supporter Care and Stewardship

• To help develop, and lead on the delivery of, effective and engaging cross-channel supporter journeys for participants including, but not limited to, email, social and direct mail, and develop resources, content and materials as required.
• To test and optimise supporter journeys to maximise remittance, average gift and retention, taking recommendations forward to provide the best possible supporter experience and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.

Marketing and Digital

• To work with the fundraising products manager, internal teams and the community & events marketing team to develop effective marketing activity.
• To help develop approaches and assets, such as content and resources, for products in your care to drive engagement from supporters, remittance and average gift, across a range of channels.
• To work with digital engagement and the community & events marketing team to monitor and report on performance, including the most effective channels, creative and audiences, to help ensure investment is maximised.

About You

Ideally, you will be someone with a real drive and a passion for charity fundraising. Who is digitally focused, driven by insight and understands the importance of great stewardship experience.

You'll have experience in a range of fundraising activities including virtual events. Adept at supporter stewardship and journeys through a variety of channels, such as digital communities, phone, and email. You'll have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding KPIs. As well as being highly organised, comfortable managing projects and if needed the ability to work to tight deadlines

Exciting opportunity to lead a significant legacy and in memory programme and manage a team of two.

Sue Ryder’s specialist teams are there when it matters, from caring for those with a terminal illness to helping others manage their grief. They provide expert care to people at the end of their lives whatever their health needs and do this from their seven specialist centres and in people’s homes. They also offer bereavement support nationally as well as campaign for change so that everyone who is approaching the end of their life or grieving has access to the right support, at the right time.

This is an exciting and integral role at Sue Ryder who are seeking an experienced legacy and in memory fundraiser to lead a programme that brings in c£7.5-8million a year. You will develop and implement an innovative fundraising strategy that is focused on sustainable growth and providing exceptional stewardship.

Legacy and in memory giving are both priority income streams for the charity; you will work across the charity to inspire and empower colleagues to promote these income streams among supporters, service users and their loved ones.

There are some exciting projects and campaigns on the horizon to get involved with, including a big campaign in the autumn and working with a brand agency to review their fundraising proposition.

About the role

As Senior Legacy and In Memory Manager, you will:

• be responsible for legacy and in memory income of between £7.5-8million a year;
• lead and manage the development, delivery and implementation of the legacy and in memory giving strategy to deliver sustainable long-term growth;
• oversee the legacy and in memory portfolio, ensuring excellent stewardship and communications to current and prospective donors;
• plan and deliver innovative marketing campaigns across a variety of channels;
• prepare robust reports for SMT/Trustees, analysing and sharing data insight;
• keep abreast of the latest trends and innovations in legacy and in memory giving;
• provide management to a team of two – Legacy and In Memory Manager and Legacy and In Memory Executive.

About you

Ideal skills and experience:

• Demonstrable experience of legacy and in memory fundraising with a track record of delivering innovative marketing campaigns to grow income.
• Experience and understanding of various acquisition channels including telemarketing, email marketing, social media, and direct mail.
• A solid understanding of the legacy administration process and ILM standards.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, and able to influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proven ability to facilitate cross-team working and build effective internal working relationships.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.

We are working with an inspiring international medical charity to find their next Institutional Trusts and Fundraising Manager.

The salary for this position is £28,723 (FTE £35,904) - Manager Level, part time (28 hours - 4 days per week).

The charity have fully embraced flexible working and the role can be either fully remote, hybrid or fully based at their office in Colchester.

The Role

You will provide strategic oversight and direction for the institutional fundraising function to deliver on the restricted and unrestricted income targets and line managing and leading the Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser in the delivery of the trust fundraising target.

Provide the prime bid writing function for institutional funders and Trusts and Foundations.

Work closely with the programmes team, both in the UK and overseas to provide leadership of high-quality bid production.

Research new possible funding opportunities and develop a strong pipeline of potential opportunties.

Manage relationships with key funders and be the lead contact for trust and institutional funders.

Keep up to date with the latest trends in institutional, statutory and trust fundraising.

The Candidate
A natural relationship based fundraiser able to build strong working relationships with inteternal and external stakeholders.

Strong experience of working in statutory and/or trusts fundraising, including successfully applying for grants in excess of £50,000+

Substantial experience interpreting and translating material into compelling content for successful proposals.

Demonstrable strong project and account management abilities.

Confident in the development of budgets to meet proposal requirements.

Strong problem solving ability and confidence to bring in new ideas and drive them forward

Experience of writing and communicating for different mediums and channels and applying writing and branding requirements to reports and documents.

Womens Coaching Programme Leader 

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum

Our client’s charity exists because they believe it is wrong for girls and women to be denied the joy, fulfilment and lifelong benefits of sport. While progress is being made towards greater equality for women and girls in sport, they know that at all levels and across all environments, there are too few female coaches, and women who are in coaching roles often report having a bad experience.

The Women’s Coaching Programme Leader will manage our client’s stewardship of the women’s coaching initiative, a group of organisations and individuals looking to make change for women in coaching. Your role will be to orchestrate, plan, deliver, and monitor the Women’s Coaching Programme on behalf of the collective of organisations involved. 

You will have significant experience working within the sporting landscape, ideally spanning community and elite sport. Main responsibilities are: 

Lead the Women in Coaching initiative: 

• Own and manage the women in coaching initiative delivery plan

• Manage the budget and reporting for the project
