The role of Head of Finance – Treasury and Financial Planning will lead, manage and co-ordinate the provision of the Groups Financial Planning, Treasury Management Services and Management Accounting functions as well as assist the Finance Director to lead and manage the Finance team.

The role:

• Lead, manage and motivate a team of four with two direct reports.
• Lead on all treasury related matters for the group such as arranging new funding, loan compliance, cashflow and banking.
• Lead on the organisation’s annual financial plan, including extensive sensitivity analysis of key performance indicators.
• Lead on the review of management accounts and production of board papers.
• Attend relevant committees and board meetings as required.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders.
• Deputise for the Director of Finance and Resources as required.
• Support the Financial Controller to deliver year end accounts.

• Oversee cashflow forecasting, managing all cash and loan balances.

Essential criteria:

• Fully qualified Accountant.

Your new role

What you'll need to succeed
This position is ideal for someone who has:

• Extensive policy development experience within the healthcare and regulatory space (ideally)
• Good understanding of the principles of good regulation in the UK and how this can be translated to Policy Development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Significant experience of preparing high quality policy documents, including position papers, reports, and final documents for senior committees and external stakeholders
• Understanding of legal principles (via a degree or previous experience - highly desirable, but not essential).

A specialist Arts University based in central London is seeking an IT Support Manager for a full-time permanent role. The organisation is a prestigious arts focused University with around 600 students. They have two sites – one being the main teaching campus near Kings Cross, the other an art gallery with some teaching capacity, on the Strand.

Ideal candidate?

• Substantial experience of major donor fundraising, with a proven track record of securing five and six-figure donations.
• Someone who is innovative and has gravitas. Wants to be part of a team, but wants to think creatively about major donor fundraising.
• Experience in identifying prospective major donors, and bringing in new business opportunities.

We're looking for associates to join our pool of consultants and trainers on a freelance basis.

​From local and national support services to green spaces, sports clubs, museums and the arts, voluntary organisations and volunteers are a vital part of communities across the country.

As the membership community for charities and voluntary organisations, NCVO has championed volunteers and the voluntary sector for over a hundred years.

​A key part of our offer is our direct support to voluntary organisations of all sizes through our consultancy and training service. We run this service as a social business, providing cost-effective and high-quality support focusing on the areas that matter most to charities. Our work generates income and valuable insights to support NCVO in achieving our mission.

​Our business is growing. We’re looking for a small number of passionate, skilled and innovative team players to work with us on a freelance basis to help us provide expert support to charities across England.

​We’re looking for support across all our consulting and training areas. We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates with the following skills and experience.
